What is MyEllevate®?
MyEllevate® is a minimally invasive, incision-less treatment pioneered by Dr. Gregory Mueller, a board-certified plastic surgeon based in Beverly Hills, CA. This in-office procedure is designed to lift and tighten the neck using the ICLED® light-guided suture system, which allows Dr. Goldberg to place supportive sutures near the neck muscles without surgery. Best of all, results can be very long-lasting and treatment does not require a long period of downtime.
What’s the Difference Between MyEllevate® and a Neck Lift?
Unlike a facelift or neck lift, MyEllevate® can be performed in-office and usually takes only one hour to complete from start to finish. Rather than using incisions to reposition the underlying tissues, this non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatment can restore support for the neck with the patented ICLED® suturing system, canceling the need for skin removal. MyEllevate® can also be done under local anesthesia, while facial plastic surgery typically utilizes general anesthesia. Lastly, a facelift or neck lift often requires two weeks of downtime before patients are ready to resume their normal routines. In contrast, patients who receive treatment with MyEllevate® can usually heal with only minor bruising and swelling.
It’s important to remember that MyEllevate® is not considered a substitution for facelift or neck lift surgery, and treatment cannot exactly replicate the same results as these procedures. How is MyEllevate® Non-Surgical Neck Tightening Performed?
During your consultation, Dr. Goldberg will take photos and measurements of your neck to design your MyEllevate® treatment plan. He will also talk to you about your concerns, hopes for the outcome, and medical history to ensure rejuvenation with MyEllevate® is the most effective way to achieve your desired results. At the time of treatment, a local anesthetic will be applied to the neck to enhance patient comfort. Tiny holes are then created near the platysma muscle bands, allowing Dr. Goldberg to insert sutures using the advanced ICLED® light-guided suture system. The tissues and ligaments are then suspended to produce natural-looking results and a visible improvement in your neck contour, although the outcome will continue to refine as swelling subsides. At our Westchester and NYC-area practice, the entire process usually takes one hour or less. Patients usually return to work and their normal activities within two to three days.
