What is Sculptra® Aesthetic?

Sculptra® is an injectable filler treatment performed to firm, plump, and rejuvenate the tone and texture of your skin. Composed of poly-L-lactic acid microparticles, Sculptra® can be a minimally invasive method of adding volume to flat features and filling mid-facial creases while still boosting natural collagen production. How is Treatment with Sculptra® Aesthetic Performed?

Completed in-office, Sculptra® injections usually take no longer than 15 to 30 minutes. Using a very fine needle, your injector will deliver Sculptra® into the cheeks, lips, or mid-facial creases until the desired results are achieved. A numbing agent can be applied prior to injections, if necessary, however patients do not typically report pain during the process. The best results are usually achieved with a series of injections, and our team generally recommends three sessions spaced approximately three to four weeks apart. That said, your treatment plan will be customized according to your personal needs and goals.

What Can I Expect From the Results of Sculptra® Aesthetic?

Rejuvenation from Sculptra® typically unfolds gradually and patients often see the effects of treatment within one month of injections. The collagen-stimulating properties of Sculptra® allow more enduring results when compared to other injectables, even lasting as long as two years after your initial treatment.
